    CAPULC AGM

The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Canadian Association of Pipeline and Utility Locating Contractors (CAPULC) was held in Grand Prairie, Alberta. This was the first time the AGM had ever been held outside of Red Deer, Alberta. Some members from Grand Prairie had invited the Directors to hold the meeting in Grand Prairie. The AGM was a great success which included a golf tournament at the Grand Prairie Golf and Country Club and barbeque at Director Don Elford’s home.

Another first for CAPULC was the election of directors from outside of Alberta. Both Barry Gray and Brad Lowe of Saskatchewan were voted in as first time directors. Their election adds to the credibility of CAPULC as a national organization. They join Randy Palaniuk and Paul Richard, who were also elected at the AGM, and the five directors elected last year: Barrett Boulton, Dave Chudiak, Jay Dowell, Don Elford, Rupert Murphy. The first meeting of the new board of directors will be June 21st, 2010.
